We are pleased to partner with RSM and Fremantle Sailing Club to hold a special business after-hours event. Just 48 hours after the release of the Federal Budget, RSM’s tax specialist Corey Beat analyses the proposed changes from a tax perspective, looking at how these will impact small businesses and investors in Fremantle.

Is this the ‘Back to a Better Future” Federal Budget we’ve been hoping for?

RSM and Fremantle Sailing Club unite to hold a special business after-hours event. Set at their iconic sea-side venue, the Fremantle Sailing Club will give you some background and information about the club while RSM will provide a detailed rundown of the Federal Budget’s real impact on business and investors.

An unexpected improvement in the Budget position could signal happy days for Treasurer Scott Morrison when he hands down the 2018-19 Federal Budget on 8 May.

A surprise surge in company tax collections, a lift in goods and services tax receipts and reduced planned government spending point to a significant reduction in the Budget deficit, anticipated to be revised down from $20 billion to under $10 billion with a surplus to be forecast in 2019-20.

Get set for a Budget night packed with announcements that will impact your small business. Just 48 hours following its release, RSM’s tax specialist Corey Beat analyses the proposed changes from a tax perspective, looking at how it will impact small businesses and investors in Fremantle, putting all Budget sweeteners and hidden skeletons in the spotlight. Be on the front foot and take advantage of any opportunities you need to act on immediately.
