FCC’s Luke van den Hoek took to the streets yesterday distributing A4 colour posters to street level businesses to welcome passengers and crew to Fremantle.
From next week, the Sun Princess will be home-ported in Fremantle with cruises departing 18th, 22nd, 25th October and 3rd November. These home-ported cruises are turn around with the entire passenger load changing over on the day. We never get to find out just exactly the passenger split between metro locals heading off on a cruise or if they are coming into to Fremantle from the Eastern States or regional WA. To cover all bases FCC will also be distributing welcome posters to hotels - just in case they are making the wise choice to stay in Fremantle before or after their cruise.
Another marquee arrival in October is the return of the Ovation of Seas, with a passenger combination of transit and turn around. FCC was there for its maiden entry into Fremantle Port. The Ovation of the Seas looms over every building in Fremantle. If you are an early riser be there for its arrival (approximately 6am) it is quite amazing to see the ship turn around in the Port on arrival
