Tendering to Government - Tender lifeline to build your business

CEO Update
Have you had difficulty breaking through into tendering for State and Local Government contracts or have no idea how step up to the process? Wondering why other people are getting the gigs close to you?

Each year Government spends billions of dollars on delivering services for the WA community but access can seem insurmountable. To making sure local businesses have the best access to supply opportunities, the State Government has created the Western Australian Industry Participation Strategy (WAIPS) which aims to provide local businesses with full, fair and reasonable opportunity to contracts. If you want to know more about WAIPS you can check it out here.  If you would prefer a short cut and have the specialists from the Department of Jobs speak to you and take your questions, then you must take advantage of a free 2 hour seminar on Wednesday 27th of February at the Jakovich Centre in Henderson. The WAIPS process doesn’t cover Local Government but Local Government representatives from across the South West metropolitan region will also present. This event is presented by the South West Group, representing the local government of Fremantle, East Fremantle, Melville, Cockburn, Kwinana and Rockingham and WA  Industry Link.  The Fremantle Chamber of Commerce is a member of the South West Group Foundation.
