...with the Westport Community Briefing raising consideration of issues around links in and out of the Port, what container trade might look like in the future and plans to link Fremantle city closer to the Port through other uses such as cruise, ferry and service based businesses.

The MOU between two of our Major Partners - Fremantle Ports and Notre Dame was officially signed on Thursday – it will be exciting to see the innovation that can come forward from these two large Fremantle businesses into the future.

We are proud to welcome Fremantle Ports as a Major Sponsor of the Business of the Year Awards 2019.  Our night of nights is just around the corner on Friday June 7th. If you are doing business, or planning to do business in Fremantle, I really encourage you to be seen at this gala event. You can purchase your ticket to the Fremantle Business Awards 2019 here.

Our next 'Set the Month in Motion' monthly forum is all set to wake us up creatively at 8am on Monday June 10th . We will bring together WA’s most creative and well know retail activators to discuss 'Activating Retail Spaces for Return'.

I would also really recommend also tuning in to our new Podcast station to listen to our first of these forums on 'Navigating Tight Cashflow' and register to attend the next event to post your question live.

Today, we also secured our spot at Maritime Day in 2019 – WA’s annual maritime festival in November.

I am so looking forward to a great financial year ahead as we continue to build great relations with our traders, exporters, business members, partners and the wider Fremantle business community.
