What a year 2019 has been for Fremantle and our business community! We have seen growth, opportunity, many wins and a touch of heartache along the way.

Like many people I speak to, I feel 2019 was such a big year of transition, and it feels like the round numbers of 2020 will see all that hard work pay off and so much of this opportunity be realised.

We will have a new city centre in Kings Square, new pipes, a sod turning for a number of new boutique hotels and apartments that will fill the ‘missing middle’, plus a fresh program of events and activities.

While you are thinking about fresh starts, be sure to REGISTER NOW for our first two events of 2020. On 23 January, a creative and fun Business After Hours facilitated by Chamber members Business Foundations on “Setting your YEAR in motion” with our 2019 Winner’s Circle business leaders. The second is our Set the Month in Motion podcast forum on developing positive workplace cultures.

I encourage you to listen to our latest PODCAST forum over the break  – such a perfect conversation to get the right mindset and clear goals in mind. You can download Episode 8 on your favourite podcast stations – AppleGoogle or Spotify.

Finally thank you to the Republic of Fremantle for hosting our 2019 Chamber Christmas party – a wonderful new venue! Check out their incredible Gin lover’s Christmas gift ideas and sign up to join the Republic today.

Finally, as I head off on leave myself today, I wish all our members, stakeholders and partners, a wonderful and safe festive season.

Thank you for being part of our journey of change over the last 12 months and we’ll catch you on the other side.
