Detailed Information

Kate and Abel is a design store / concept shop / art gallery / magazine stand / gift shop / card stop…. depending on your interests – in reality, it’s all of these things. Sort of unclassifiable, but it’s somewhere you’ll enjoy spending time perusing the shelves. It’s one of the many independently owned, and managed, and well-loved, small shops in Fremantle.

Kate and Abel, which first opened within MANY 6160 (inside the former Myer building in Walyalup Koort, alongside the Kate and Abel Cafe), stocks books, specialist magazines, blankets, taxidermy, knives, ceramics, cards, kitchenware and loads more. It was originally anchored around the in-house hat brand, St. Saviours, however owner, Kate Hulett, moved away from millinery in June 2022.

If you can’t make it in-store, Kate and Abel is also online, so pop over to kateandabel.com to have a look at what’s on offer.
