Antisocial working hours, high-stress customer conflicts and long, physically taxing days in fast-paced work environments are synonymous with the hospitality industry. This has led to 80 per cent of hospitality workers reporting symptoms like anxiety, depression, stress and addiction.

Iconic Fremantle hospitality venue Little Creatures belongs to the Lion Group who believe that supporting the mental health and wellbeing of their staff plays a huge role in their venue’s success. FRE-OH! Magazine sat down with two of the all-female management team at Little Creatures to discuss how they support their staff to combat the major challenges of mental health and burnout in hospitality.
