It’s been 150 years since a group of men met at the Orient Hotel in Fremantle and resolved to form a Chamber of Commerce. Those men likely didn’t see it coming but last week it was a woman — current CEO Chrissie Maus, who is the chamber’s third female chief executive in its history — with the honour of leading celebrations for that incredible legacy.
