One of the Chamber’s newest members Fremantle Park Sport & Community Centre will be hosting members and their guests in a unique business after hours. Green is the theme for this fine event on St Patricks Day 2021.
The Fremantle Park Sport and Community Centre, built by McCorkell Constructions, is the proud new home of the Fremantle Workers Social and Leisure Club, Fremantle Lawn Tennis Club and Fremantle Bowling Club.
The $4.68 million project involved the demolition of the 1950s bowling clubroom and 1960s tennis clubhouse, the construction of the new Sport and Community Centre and the installation of two new hard court tennis courts and a new synthetic bowling green.
More than just a space for the three clubs, the shared community facility is also a versatile space for the wider community to use for conferences, meetings and dinners.
Come and learn more about what goes on at the Fremantle Park Sport & Community Centre whilst watching the sun go down over the green, and maybe picking up a racket to brush up those rusty tennis skills.

Join us for an important follow up conversation from our 2019 Creative Industries Think Tank.
We will kick off the discussion with a framing presentation by City of Fremantle’s Manager of Arts & Culture Kathryn Taylor who will discuss the data and work they have put into developing their audit of our local industry, policy and strategy development, as well as the City’s perspective on the State Arts Infrastructure Report and how plans for film and festivals also fit into this once the world starts to return a bit more to normal.
