Due to overwhelming demand Barista Basics returns for a fourth time!
Barista Basics is a half day training session that’ll educate participants on the essentials of becoming a world class barista.
Being a barista isn’t just about pouring a perfect cup, it’s about delivering every coffee in a fast-paced, demanding environment. This workshop will focus on practical skills, employability and get participants Job Ready to start working in a Cafe.
Participants will be presented with the importance of a barista in the hospitality environment, plus cover the exploration of the fundamentals of the coffee machine, temperature gauges, beverage variations, flavours and necessary safety information in a hands-on environment and much more!
Participants will be issued a Barista Basics Certificate upon course completion.

This course includes:
-Coffee product knowledge, including roasting, blends, and single origins.
-Service setup, extraction analysis and grind adjustment for perfect shots.
-Milk stretching, texturing, and pouring techniques.
-Learn to pour every coffee on the menu.
-Coffee machine cleaning and maintenance.
