Keynote Speaker: Justin Longmuir

Justin Longmuir is a highly respected leader in the Australian Football League and the senior coach of the Fremantle Dockers. With a strong playing background, having played 139 games for Fremantle from 1999 to 2007, Longmuir transitioned into coaching and has made a significant impact. He has held various coaching roles, including assistant senior coach at West Coast and a stint at Collingwood where he played a crucial role in their rise to the 2018 Grand Final. As a leader, Longmuir is known for his ability to build a high-performance environment and for his modern approach to coaching, which has earned him praise from the AFL community.

Fireside Chat Guests:

Matthew Pavlich

During the fireside will we chat to Matthew Pavlich, one of the AFL’s biggest stars and Fremantle’s most respected and admired player. Pavlich starred in a number of roles for the Dockers over his 17-year career, becoming the first WA-based player to play over 300 games - ending on 353 games. Matthew was a six-time Doig Medallist as Fremantle's Best and Fairest player and was named an All-Australian six times including in the midfield, fullback, half-forward, and full forward. Appointed Captain at 24, he captained the Dockers for a record 9 years which sees him ranked 6th all-time for games played as an AFL Captain. Off the field, Matthew obtained both a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from the University of Western Australia. He completed a 3-year tenure as the AFLPA’s President and a member of their board of directors (9 years) and spent time on the AFL Laws of the Game Committee. He is now enjoying on a blossoming career with Fox Sports and Channel 9. +

Ange Stannett (captain of the Fremantle Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW))

Began her sporting career in soccer, playing for Perth Glory in the W-League before transitioning to AFL. She joined the Fremantle Dockers AFLW team as a rookie in 2019, quickly earning a reputation for her reliability and skill. She hasn’t missed a game since her debut, finishing sixth in the Club’s Fairest and Best in 2021 and earning the 'Best Clubwoman' award for her selfless dedication. In 2024, despite facing a serious knee injury, Ange was voted in as Fremantle’s captain, leading the team with resilience and determination from the sidelines.
