What is the ChargeUp WA Grant?

The ChargeUp workplace grant was created to help small to medium enterprises, non-profit organisations, and local government bodies seeking to add electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities in their workplace.

Everything you need to know about the third round:

  • Round 3 opened October 2024 & closes June 30 2025 or when available funding is fully exhausted

  • ChargeUp co-funds up to half the cost of purchasing & installing electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure

  • Funding support for up to 50% of EV charging hardware, software & install costs

  • Available for both AC chargers (7kw - 22kw) & DC chargers (25kw - 350kw)

How to Apply for the EV Charger Grant?

  2. EV Charging Systems work with you through each step of the process & determine the most cost-effective route for establishing an EV charging system at your facility.

Benefits of the ChargeUp WA Grant

Optimise Your Charging: Helps maximise your EV charging opportunites at locations that Western Australians frequent during the day while minimising electricity consumption during the busy evening peak.

Affordable & Cost-Saving: With an aim to co-fund up to 50% of all associated installation costs, the grant will ensure all recipients have an established EV Charging system at a significantly more affordable price.

Support ESG Incentives: By prioiritising the use of Western Australia’s abundant solar energy, this grant supports the environmentally-friendly initiatives, with a particular focus on daytime EV charging.
