Inspiring Leaders of Tomorrow

Last week, FCC welcomed a group of student leaders from Years 10, 11, and 12 from Fremantle College to the Chamber to participate in a Leadership Masterclass hosted by Chrissie Maus, CEO of the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce. With pride, the Fremantle College student leaders embodied their values as they engaged in a series of activities aimed at fostering the growth of fresh, people-centric leadership qualities.

“We thank Chrissie Maus and her dedicated team for orchestrating an extraordinary Leadership Masterclass. Not only did our students wholeheartedly immerse themselves in the experience and find inspiration, but they were also skillfully guided to confront, contemplate, and delve deeply into a spectrum of real-world issues. Your guidance is invaluable!”

Sarah Hopely, Associate Principal, Fremantle College

“The master class is an experience that all young leaders should have the opportunity to participate in because it creates an environment that encourages diverse leadership skills and critical thinking. By the end of the masterclass, as a young leader, I understood how important it is to embrace inclusivity and socially progressive leadership.”

Joshlyn Sta Ana, Year 12 Academic Captain, Fremantle College

“It was an amazing experience. Chrissie Maus spoke with us rather than to us. We were able to discuss interesting topics and everyone had the opportunity to input into the discussion. I learnt so much about healthy leadership attributes and the benefits by obtaining them. We also looked at examples of leaders with and without these skills and discussed what effect it had on us as the audience.”

Reuben Smalley, Year 11 Student Councillor
