Slip Street Carnivale this Saturday!

Workshop Lane between Slip Street and Gage Roads will come alive for a South American-style sundowner street party, featuring music, food and entertainment this Saturday 24th February.

For the first time, the Carnivale will also takeover Workshop Lane between Gage Roads and Slip Street with food trucks, Brazilian dancers, stilt walkers and a Gage Road’s pop-up.

Fremantle Ports chief executive Michael Parker said the event would make use of a much loved but often “overlooked” part of the Quay’s west end precinct.

“Victoria Quay is rich with a variety of unique event spaces with historic port workshops with numerous pathways leading to the harbour and accessible from Fleet Street and Bathers Beach,” he said.

“We’re committed to activating Victoria Quay through the year, in a range of ways for the whole community.”

The Slip Street Carnivale will run from 5pm to 9.30pm on February 24.
